Who we are

Our website address is samnells.com. This website is run by Samnells Home Care Services Ltd., 88A Marshall Street, Folkestone, Kent CT19 6ET. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us here.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in and your message.
• Appointment form: your first and last name, phone number, email address, the service you're looking for, the best time to call and any message.
• Service application forms: your first and last name, phone number, email address, the service you're applying for, who the care is for, your postcode or town, when care would need to start and any message.
• Job applications: these are made through a form hosted by Jotform, which has its own privacy policy.

Please don't include detailed medical information in website forms. We'll talk through care needs with you directly.

How we use your information

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange appointments and discuss the care you or your loved one needs. We don't sell your information, and we won't use it for marketing without your permission.

Cookies

This website doesn't set any cookies of its own and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. If you choose to show the map on our contact or about page, Google Maps loads and may set its own cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages include content from other websites, such as the Google map (only after you click “Show map”) and our job application form on Jotform. Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if you had visited that website, and those websites may collect data about you.

Who we share your data with

Our website host, Netlify, processes form submissions on our behalf and passes them to us by email. We only share your information where it's needed to respond to you or provide the services you've asked for, or where the law requires us to.

How long we keep your data

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for any period we are required to keep records by law. If you become a client, your care records are kept securely for 8 years after your service ends and then securely destroyed, as set out in our Compliance & Operations Policy Manual.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you or another organisation. To make a request, contact us, verbally or in writing. We'll confirm your identity, then respond free of charge within one calendar month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Where your data is sent

Netlify is based in the United States and may store form submissions on servers outside the UK.
